When this setting is enabled, the app handles your video exactly as it is, preserving its source properties. This is the easiest way to ensure your uploaded video looks and displays like your original footage.
When activated, Flight analyzes your video the moment you add it, understanding its unique characteristics – like its resolution, frame rate (including high frame rates), and color depth (the richness and detail in your colors, like in HDR footage). This allows Flight to intelligently process your video to preserve everything that makes it look great, ensuring the full range of colors and brightness is accurately maintained, just like your original recording.
Our goal is to get your video uploaded efficiently while keeping its visual integrity. Based on your video’s properties and your chosen quality settings, the app determines a maximum bitrate for compression. But here’s where Flight’s intelligence shines: it constantly assesses your video during compression. If it determines that it can maintain stunning quality with fewer bits, it will allocate just what’s needed. This smart allocation means you get the best possible quality with the fastest transmission speed, every time.
