latakoo for High Schools

Aspiring journalists at El Paso High School in Texas use latakoo to send their campus content directly to KTDO, Telemundo El Paso. In late January, the station picked up content produced by the students for a story about the class of 2024’s final basketball game.

After El Paso High School students shoot and edit their videos, they use latakoo to deliver the files directly to KTDO. latakoo helps educational institutions simulate the dynamic collaboration of professional newsrooms, while giving young journalists access to a software solution that many will go on to use in their broadcast careers.

“It’s a way of getting a mentorship so they can be on the right path, on the right track to become a professional.”

– Alejandro Pariente |  El Paso Telemundo News Director
